OUR STORY
The Ohio State Chapter of the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club (USVMCOH), based in Fairborn, Ohio, is a mission-driven chapter rooted in service and brotherhood of 100% Veterans. You must be a Veteran to become a member. The chapter was officially chartered in September 2012, establishing a presence in a region closely tied to military service through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. From the beginning, the chapter aligned with the national USVMC mission. It brought together Veterans from all branches who wanted to continue serving beyond the uniform. Not through formal orders, but through brotherhood, community support, and direct action. The chapter formalized its structure shortly after its founding, achieving incorporation and 501(c) (19) nonprofit status in 2013.
Since then, the Ohio State Chapter has built its identity around supporting Veterans, Active Duty personnel, and the local community. Their work includes participation in military escorts, remembrance events, and initiatives focused on Veteran support and mental wellness. They are also known for organizing events like VetFest Ohio, which brings together veterans, civilians, and supporters to honor service and sacrifice. Operating out of Fairborn, the chapter benefits from strong ties to the military community. That proximity reinforces its role as a bridge between Active Duty members and Veterans, maintaining continuity of support and connection. At its core, the Ohio State Chapter reflects what the USVMC was built to be. A traditional motorcycle club grounded in respect, commitment, and a lived code of brotherhood. Not symbolic. Lived out through action, presence, and service.
Not content to rest on its laurels, USVMCOH in June 2016 added VetFest Ohio 501(c) (3) to its portfolio in June 2016 as a flagship event, built to bring people together around one purpose: honoring those who served and those who gave everything. Held in the Fairborn area, it draws Veterans, Active Duty, riders, and the local community into a shared space of respect and connection. The event blends live music, rides, and community engagement with a clear mission: supporting veteran-focused initiatives and giving back to those who need it most. It’s not just a gathering. It’s a reflection of what USVMCOH stands for: brotherhood, service, and showing up for our own.
The National and Ohio Council of Clubs is focused on one thing. Protecting the political and legal interests of motorcycle clubs and their members across the country. The goal is simple. Bring confederations and coalitions together so there’s a clear, responsible voice when dealing with the media and the outside world. Especially when issues come up that affect the motorcycle community.
The Council of Clubs stands on its own it gives everyone a way to come together, coast to coast. Groups involved in NCOM can still be part of the Council of Clubs. No conflict there. This has grown into the largest unifying movement the motorcycle club world has seen. It represents thousands of clubs across America. Riders from all backgrounds. Christian clubs, veteran clubs, clean and sober clubs, women’s clubs, child advocacy clubs, 1% clubs, riding clubs, and more. Different paths, same road. The mission stays steady. Stand up for motorcycle riders. Protect the political, legislative, and legal interests that affect clubs and the people in them across this country.
