SHIELD 22
The USVMCOH Shield 22: Veteran Lifeline Program is relentlessly committed to confronting one of the most urgent battles facing our veterans: preventing suicide by breaking the cycle of isolation and restoring connection. The transition to civilian life can leave even the strongest feeling alone. We refuse to let that stand. Through brotherhood, outreach, and intentional mental wellness support, we create a network where veterans are seen, supported, and never left to carry the weight alone. This is more than awareness ... IT IS ACTION! It’s showing up, building connections and ensuring every veteran knows they still belong. When you support USVMCOH, you help turn isolation into connection, struggle into strength, and uncertainty into purpose. No veteran should ever walk alone and with your support, they won’t.
We don’t just talk about supporting our Veterans and Active-Duty personnel; we live it every single day.
Our brotherhood stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the military community through every phase of service. From helping families navigate the strain of long deployments to honoring service members with unforgettable send-offs and heartfelt homecomings, our impact is personal, consistent, and real. This mission isn’t abstract to us. Every member has walked that road. We know the weight of service, the sacrifice behind it, and the critical importance of never letting our Veterans and military families stand alone. When you support us, you’re not getting behind a concept; you’re fueling a proven network of Veterans who take care of their own. You’re helping deliver strength, stability, and dignity to those who’ve earned it.
FISH FOOD PANTRY
USVMCOH rides with purpose, standing up for our community and taking care of our own. Through our efforts, we directly support FISH by providing funding for food and essential care items to Veterans and Active-Duty individuals and families across Greene County who need them most. This isn’t just charity, it’s brotherhood in action, delivering real impact where it matters. When you support USVMCOH, you’re fueling a mission that puts boots on the ground, meets needs head-on, and ensures no Veteran or Active-Duty neighbor is left behind.
Food Insecurity: 1 in 4 veterans of the Iraq and Afghan wars face difficulty putting food on the table. No one should have to choose between a healthy meal and paying the bills.
CONNECT TO CARE
USVMCOH stands where it matters most, where need meets decisive action. Through our Connect to Care mission, we don’t just point veterans and active-duty members in the right direction; we personally guide them there. We identify those facing isolation, stress, or the challenges of transition and connect them to life-changing resources like the Save A Warrior Program, Dayton VA services, trusted Veteran Service Organizations, and a powerful network of community partners. This is hands-on, boots-on-the-ground support. We walk beside every individual, cutting through confusion and removing barriers so they receive the right care at the right time. From mental wellness support and benefits guidance to brotherhood and crisis intervention, we turn uncertainty into clarity and hesitation into forward movement. When you support USVMCOH, you’re not just helping; you’re ensuring no veteran or service member is ever left to navigate the system alone.
FALLEN HERO FUND
The Fallen Hero Fund stands as a living tribute to Specialist Jesse A. Snow (KIA), who gave everything in defense of freedom and the ideals that define our nation. Through this fund, USVMCOH turns remembrance into action; directly supporting veterans in need while honoring the legacy of a hero whose sacrifice made our way of life possible. Every dollar carries purpose: to uplift those who served and to ensure Jesse’s story is never forgotten. Recipients are not only supported—they become part of something greater, carrying forward Jesse’s name, his sacrifice, and his impact into their communities. When you support the Fallen Heroes Fund, you’re not just giving—you’re preserving a legacy, honoring sacrifice, and standing with those who have stood for all of us.
